For thirty years, Marve Brimacombe of Marve's Speed Shop in Cobble Hill, British Columbia has serviced and repaired Harley Davidson motorcycles. Specializing in drag bike racing, they have fuelled the way to what Harley enthusiasts consider the most exciting sport ever—and he calls it Mental Racing. Experimental minus the "experi".

It's an apt term, because it's Brimacombe's mental ability to dream, to create and to build a team around him and his passion, which not only shares his dream, but which has enabled him to fulfil it and beyond.

Using a 330 foot (100 meters) dragstrip, Marve's crew has continually established record after record, with their latest triumph last summer registering a mere (and unbelievable) time of 3.73 seconds over the 100 meter course.
This amazing feat was accomplished in their Nitro-powered Harley dirt dragster piloted by a young daredevil, Jimmy Girdlestone.
